TIME LINE THERAPY
Time Line Therapy or TLT, works in conjunction with NLP, and is one of the most effective tools in creating fast, long-lasting changes in behaviour. Deriving from NLP, TLT is based on the premise that our memories are stored in a linear fashion i.e. a timeline pattern.
Time Line therapists use different techniques to help release beliefs and negative emotions linked to past experiences. It is thought to be especially useful for those struggling with depression, anxiety and stress.
It is known that our past experiences, and the memories that go with them affect how we approach present day situations. Furthermore, when these experiences and memories prevent us from expressing ourselves, they stop us from achieving the results we want; TLT techniques can assist us to change all that, via three major modalities:
NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
To let go of Negative Emotions from the past, by releasing these from the memories that support them.
LIMITING DECISIONS
To let go of Limiting Decisions from the past, which have come about as a result of previous unhelpful experiences, hence limiting your life in many ways.
CREATE YOUR FUTURE
To create your future the way you want it to be, TLT presents you with a simple process that produces results; it involves using your imagination to design an inspirational future, with a desired outcome.

In short TLT is a collection of techniques that allow you to gain emotional control over your life. Inappropriate emotional reactions, such as bursts of anger, periods of apathy, depression, sadness, anxiety, and chronic fear, are responsible for preventing people from achieving the quality of life they desire. Limiting decisions, such as ‘I’m not good enough’, ‘I’ll never be rich’, or ‘I don’t deserve a great relationship’, create false limitations and hamper your ability to create attainable goals and outcomes.
